Probe shows gas drillers fail to disclose ‘fracked’ wells

The industry has touted the database in battling calls for legislation that would mandate disclosure of chemicals injected during fracking.

Fracking involves high-pressure injections of water, chemicals and sand into shale formations to open seams that enable hydrocarbons to flow.
