Chamber pushes for focused agenda on jobs and economic growth

Voters went to the polls Tuesday to push for a focused agenda on jobs and economic growth.

"Voters have resoundingly rejected more government spending, higher taxes and more burdensome regulations that have caused crippling uncertainty for businesses," said U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Thomas J. Donohue in a statement Tuesday night.

Congress will have to work together to find the path to economic growth, he said.

"We will work with members of both parties who support policies that enable businesses of all sizes to do what they do best — create jobs, opportunity and prosperity," he said.
