Treasury deems Iranian general a narcotics trafficker

The designation from Treasury comes as Iran has been a hot topic in Washington in recent days, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel having visited the nation’s capital.

Baghbani has been accused under the Kingpin Act, under which Treasury has designated hundreds of people as traffickers since 2000.
