Dems fundraising off nation's strictest abortion law

Abortion was a flashpoint in the 2012 election cycle, and Tuesday's fundraising email suggests similar fights will continue at the state level.

Dalrymple also approved measures that ban genetic and gender discrimination in abortion and require doctors that perform the procedures to maintain hospital-admitting privileges.

The six-week ban is seen as a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 decision that established abortion rights.
