President Trump’s secretary of Health and Human Services on Sunday said the White House believes Medicare should be guaranteed for senior citizens.

Trump during his presidential campaign promised not to cut Medicare and Social Security.

Republicans are currently working on a plan to replace ObamaCare, after taking the first steps in repealing it through a budget reconciliation in January.

Price on Sunday said it is a “goal” of the Trump administration for people currently insured under ObamaCare to keep their coverage.
