Kerry rips Congress for withholding aid to Egypt

"They say: 'What's it matter to you, you're not helping us. The other guys are helping us. Thank you, we'll do what we want to do.' "

Lawmakers – including House Appropriations foreign aid panel chairwoman Kay Granger (R-Texas) and former House Foreign Affairs Committee chairwoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) - blocked the money out of concerns with Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood government. But Kerry said Egypt has held democratic elections and respected its peace treaty with Israel, and should be supported.
