Lawmaker calls on Obama to demand UN dump official over Boston comments

Kelly said Rice's response doesn't go nearly far enough.

“I thank Ambassador Rice for her recent condemnation, but more than a two-sentence tweet is needed,” he said in a statement. “I call on President Obama to stand up for America by denouncing all of Mr. Falk’s offensive slanders against our country and insisting to Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon that he be removed from his post.”

This isn't Falk's first run-in with the Obama administration. Rice has in the past criticized him for suggesting that “neoconservatives” may have been complicit in the the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and calling for a boycott against businesses that profit from Israeli settlements in the Palestinian territories.
