Google Street View photo of motionless girl stirs neighborhood confusion

A photo of a girl lying motionless in the street, which appeared on Google Street View, sparked fears among her neighbors that she was dead, but she was just playing a prank on her friend, according to the Daily Mail.

"I'm quite chuffed I'm on the Internet. It is quite funny and I can't wait to tell my classmates when I go back to school," said the 10-year-old girl. Seeing the image made her neighbors in the English city of Worcester worry about what had happened on their block, the article says.

Her mom's reaction: "I wish she was that quiet all the time."

Street View is a part of Google's mapping application that allows users to look at photographs along their route. Street View vans take photos of the locations and post them online. When inappropriate images are caught on photo, users can report them for removal through a tool in the application.
