Some news from our own newsroom:
The Hill announced Friday that iPad users can access articles for free through a new application available in the iTunes App Store.
It's the first full-service iPad app from a congressional publication and includes news, comment, features and blogs. The app makes it possible to share content on Facebook, Twitter and other social sites.
From The Hill's announcement on the application:
"It’s a great platform for our increasingly popular products," said editor in chief Hugo Gurdon. "Readers want The Hill in this latest, stylish and easy-to-use format."
The Hill has the largest circulation of any Capitol Hill publication; it comes out daily when Congress is in session and can be seen online 24/7 at thehill.com. It has been the newspaper for and about Congress since its launch in 1994.
