Democrats and the Tea Party movement are seen as the "most committed" to policies that drive American innovation and economic vitality, according to a poll released Wednesday by the Consumer Electronics Association.
Those groups trounced Republicans and the progressive group MoveOn.Org when respondents were asked to identify who they see as "most committed" to innovation.
Thirty-one percent of respondents saw the Democrats as most committed to innovation; the same amount saw the Tea Party movement as most committed.
That compares to around 19 percent of respondents who saw the GOP as most committed to innovation.
Only 5.6 percent saw MoveOn.org as most committed to innovation.
