Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) used Twitter to announce the initial set of legislation he introduced in the new session of Congress.
Issa, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, offered a few measures that may sound good to the technology sector.
That included a bill to address high-tech immigration, making it easier for technology companies to bring engineers and scientists to the United States.
Another bill could curtail patent lawsuits by making it harder for people to sue over expired patents.
In total, Issa tweeted seven bills in his initial set.
