A judge with the U.S. International Trade Commission ruled Friday that Apple hadn't infringed on Nokia's patents while building its iPhone, according to a report from Bloomberg.
Nokia sued Apple in October 2009, claiming Apple had infringed on 10 of its patents, prompting an escalating series of patent-related lawsuits from both sides. Nokia claims Apple infringed on its patents related to touch screens, cameras and battery life, among others.
Nokia had sought to collect royalties on salaes of iPhones. The judge's ruling is subject to review by the six-member commission.
