The group's agenda also suggests it will re-examine the current immigration system, particularly how H1-B visas for international guest workers are allocated. The current system has been criticized for not focusing on technology jobs and assigning too many slots to India-based staffing firms.

The tech industry wants to increase the number of visas and make it easier for science and engineering graduates to stay in the U.S. after completing a post-graduate degree. Roughly half of the science and math graduate students at U.S. universities are foreign and must return home after graduation.
