Broadband coalition launches second ad campaign

Starting today, another round of ads will be appearing in Washington and Silicon Valley, sponsored by Broadband for America. The coalition launched last month to push the importance of broadband deployment. It's also been criticized as just another lobbying machine sponsored by the biggest Internet service providers, including Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, Qwest and Time Warner. The renewed push comes just two days before the FCC votes on a notice of proposed rulemaking on net neutrality regulations that these companies are lobbying against.
