Poll: Half of adults connect to the Internet wirelessly

The Pew Research Center's Internet and American Life Project today released the findings of a new national poll that gives a snapshot of U.S. broadband trends.

The full findings of the poll, which took place from Nov. 30 to Dec. 27, can be found here.

Some highlights:

 -- 74% of American adults (ages 18 and older) use the Internet.

 -- 60% of American adults use broadband connections at home.

 -- 55% of American adults connect to the Internet wirelessly.
