House Democrats kicked off a "jobs summit" last night with remarks from Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who addressed the caucus at the Library of Congress.
We're told he delivered informal remarks about how innovation will spur jobs. We couldn't get a copy of his prepared remarks. But House Democrats tweeted one:
"Schmidt advice to Congress: when making a decision, see if it will bring more competition and better experience for the end user," said the tweet.
End user? Spoken like a true techie.
President Obama will speak to the Democrats at the Capitol today and former President Bill Clinton will speak Friday.
My colleague Walter Alarkon has this recap.
