Rep. O’Rourke live-tweets bus ride with constituents

Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) is live-tweeting a public transportation ride with his constituents on Friday morning.

O’Rourke said he was answering questions in person and on Twitter while he was riding an El Paso Sun Metro bus.

“This morning I’ll be riding Sun Metro bus #42 at 8:26 a.m. starting from the Downtown Transfer Center, I hope to see you there,” O’Rourke tweeted, using the hashtag #BusingWithBeto.

O’Rourke was first elected in 2012. He tweeted that he received “a great first question about drug reform” during his mobile town-hall meeting.

He later tweeted pictures of the bus picking up more passengers and making a stop at the El Paso Northeast Terminal.
