TSA to allow snow globes for holiday travel

The agency also promoted its Pre-Check known-traveler program, which allows passengers to volunteer personal information in exchange for the possibility of avoiding long security lines.

“TSA is committed to ensuring the safety of the traveling public using the latest processes and technologies,” TSA administrator John Pistole said in a statement about holiday travel.

“Passengers who are prepared for security screening at the checkpoint will help streamline the process for themselves and for other travelers,” Pistole continued.
