Former House Transportation Committee staffer going to work for Boeing

Smith told The Hill on she was excited about the opportunity to work at Boeing.

“I am extremely excited and I’m looking forward to getting started over there,” Smith said. “I think it’s a great company and a great opportunity.” 

Smith described her new role at Boeing as “in a nutshell, I’ll be working with government relations, regulatory efforts and outside efforts, working generally in civil aviation.”

Smith is scheduled to start at Boeing on April 19.
