Which ‘Sex and the City’ character appeals most to you?
Posted: 06/02/08 04:38 PM [ET]
Rep. Ellen Tauscher (D-Calif.): Let’s see, I forget their names. I’m not Miranda, that’s for sure ... Yeah, I don’t really think I’m any of them.

Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.): Um … Samantha. Let’s see … It’s her intellect.

Rep. Howard Berman (D-Calif.): What a strange question. That dumb-looking guy. No, congressman, we mean amongst the four women. You think I know?

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.): I don’t know who they are, so that would be a difficult one for me to answer.

Rep. John McHugh (R-N.Y.): No idea. Not to the extent that I know the characters. I do know I will not see the movie.

Rep. Tom Feeney (R-Fla.): They’re all very interesting and attractive women. As a happily married man, I probably sympathize most with the brunette. My wife is the quiet brunette at home until she starts asking me to do things, which are well-deserved.

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.): I don’t watch the show, so I can’t tell.

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.): I’ve never really seen it.

Rep. Mike Simpson (R-Idaho): Which is the one with the black hair, Charlotte? Because she’s cute, she’s attractive.

Rep. Melissa Bean (D-Ill.): The only one I even know is — is it Carrie? Is that her name? I think I’ve seen it twice, maybe.

Rep. Thelma Drake (R-Va.): You’re going to be really surprised when I tell you this: I’ve never watched it. I watch very little TV.

Rep. Shelley Berkley (D-Nev.): I love them all. They’re all great. I love the woman with the dark hair because she married a nice Jewish man. And the tall vixen — I mean, when she took off her wig for the cancer, I thought, “This is a woman I could love.”

Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.): Oh, what is it? Sarah Jessica Parker. She wears nice shoes.

Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-R.I.): Honestly, I haven’t watched enough episodes to know.

Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.): I’m hard-pressed. I think all three are hot. I don’t think it would work if all three of them weren’t there. Note to congresswoman: The show has four main female stars.

Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.): I guess Sarah Jessica Parker because she’s a friend of mine. Actually, Amy Harris, who writes it.

Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio): I was always an SJP type of guy. I like the literate types, you know?

Rep. Kendrick Meek (D-Fla.): I don’t watch it enough to know. If you have anything about “Talladega Nights” …

Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.): I’ve never watched “Sex and the City,” so I have no idea.

Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.): Am I supposed to know because I’m from New York?
