Thursdays meeting announcements: Veterans and reporting

On April 22 and 23, an advisory committee of the Department of Health and Human Services is meeting to develop recommendations on improving interdisciplinary, community-based health.

An advisory committee of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will meet on April 25 and 26 to discuss disability compensation. 

Another VA advisory group will meet on May 1 in Washington, D.C., to propose recommendations on caring for disabled veterans.

The Department of Agriculture's advisory committee on Native American farming and ranching will hold a webinar on May 3.

Also on May 3, the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, an office of the Department of Energy, will meet in Washington, D.C., to hear about research initiatives. 

On May 7 and 8, the Department of Veterans Affairs' advisory committee on cemeteries is meeting in St Louis. Mo.

The advisory committee for the implementation of a forest system land management rule will meet in Fort Collins, Colo., on May 7, 8 and 9, to provide advice on the rule.

A Department of Energy advisory board of Tennessee's Oak Ridge Reservation is meeting May 8 in Oak Ridge, Tenn. 

The National Museum and Library Services Board is meeting May 9 to to give an update on its activities. 

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is holding meetings of its advisory committee on fisheries on May 7, 9, 10, 15 and 16.

On May 15 and 16, the Environmental Protection Agency's Environmental Financial Advisory Board is meeting to discuss ways to fund environmental programs.

On May 16, the Federal Aviation Administration is holding a working group meeting on its information management program.

Also on May 16, the Bureau of Land Management's resource advisory committee for Utah will host a conference call. 

The Energy Department's National Coal Council is meeting May 16 and 17 in Washington, D.C.
