Tuesday's meeting announcements: Commerce Department discussing regulations

A federal panel on vaccines is meeting on Sept. 10 and 11 in Washington to discuss ways to prevent diseases through immunization. 

The Department of Commerce's committee for transportation is meeting on Sept. 11.

On Sept. 12, the Department of Health and Human Services is holding a meeting for its advisory committee on defense against chemical and biological threats. The board will be presented a potential new task at the meeting and review its accomplishments so far.

The U.S. Civil Rights Commission advisory committee for New York is meeting on Sept. 13 to plan for future projects.

The Department of Veterans Affairs' panel on clinical science is holding a meeting on Sept. 18.

On Sept. 19, the Federal Mine Safety Health and Review Commission is meeting to discuss a recent court case involving the Labor Department.

The Forest Service's panel for Humboldt County, Nev., is meeting in the town on Winnemucca on Sept. 24.

From Sept. 24 to 26, the Transportation Department's office for intelligent transportation systems is holding its annual public meeting in Arlington, Va.
