The Food and Drug Administration  issued guidance showing the agency will keep most of its workers on the job during the government shutdown.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission announced the departure of the agency’s top enforcement official and the elevation of his successor to the post.

The disgraced Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) official who allegedly posed as a CIA agent plead the Fifth during an appearance before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) tweeted that the partial government shutdown’s upside was a halt to new EPA regulations.
