Hair-restoration company settles antitrust case with feds

The FTC also alleged that Bosley provided similar information to other companies.

As part of the settlement, Bosley will be prevented from communicating similar information with any competitor and will have to develop a program to ensure its observance of federal antitrust laws, including compliance training, legal support to respond to questions and maintenance of a document database to prove its cooperation. Bosley will also have to submit periodic reports to the FTC and give the commission access to its facilities and employees.

Bosley provides surgical, laser and medical procedures to restore and regrow hair. The company claims to have performed more than 200,000 hair transplant procedures.
