An advisory panel for a first responder communication network is holding a teleconference on Oct. 25. 

On Oct. 28, the Federal Communications Commission is holding a meeting to receive a number of presentations. 

The Energy Department’s advisory panel for biological and environmental research is meeting in Rockville, Md., on Oct. 28 and 29. 

The National Institutes of Health’s advisory committee for intramural research is holding a teleconference on the afternoon of Nov. 4 to discuss site visit reports. 

On Nov. 4 and 5, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will host a meeting of its public advisory committee on pediatric oncologic drugs.  

The Commerce Department’s technical advisory committee on materials processing equipment is meeting on Nov. 5. 

The Department of Health and Human Services is holding a meeting on healthcare research and quality on Nov. 6 in Bethesda, Md. 

A Commerce Department panel will meet on Nov. 6 and 7 to discuss information systems.

The Federal Aviation Administration is holding a meeting of its tactical operations advisory committee on Nov. 7 in Washington. 

On Nov. 8, FDA’s advisory panel for ear, nose and throat medical devices is meeting in Silver Spring, Md. 

The Bureau of Land Management’s advisory council for Wyoming is meeting in the town of Laramie from Nov. 12 to 14. 

An Energy Department panel for the area around Oak Ridge, Tenn., is meeting on Nov. 13 to review comments from the department, the state and the public.

Also on Nov. 13, a technical advisory committee on transportation and related equipment is meeting in Washington. 

The Department of Homeland Security’s advisory committee on offshore safety is meeting in Houston on Nov. 13 and 14 to discuss issues affecting offshore oil and gas development. 

An advisory committee on personnel for the Merchant Marines will hold a teleconference on Nov. 14 to review a safety manual draft update. 

On the afternoon of Nov. 15, the National Council of the Arts will hold a virtual meeting. 

The Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board is holding a workshop on the impacts of a canister design on Nov. 18 and 19, and will meet in Washington on Nov. 20. 

The FDA’s advisory panel on endocrinologic and metabolic drugs is meeting in Silver Spring, Md., on Nov. 19. 

On Nov. 20, a Homeland Security committee on national security telecommunications is meeting in Washington. 

Also on Nov. 20, the Energy Department’s advisory board for northern New Mexico is meeting in the town of San Juan Pueblo. The department’s board for the Paducah, Ky., area is meeting on Nov. 21. 

On Dec. 11, the Environmental Protection Agency is holding a hearing in Lansing, Mich., to discuss proposed changes to the state’s Clean Water Act program.
