Thursday's meeting announcements: Protecting veterans' rights

From June 10-14, committees of the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council will meet in Stuart, Fla. 

A national advisory committee on workplace health and safety is meeting in Washington on June 11. 

The committees on New England groundfish and fish habitats are meeting on June 11 in Providence, R.I. The groundfish panel is also meeting on June 10. 

From June 11-13, the council on Mid-Atlantic fishing is meeting in Eatontown, N.J. 

The Energy Department's advisory board for the Idaho National Laboratory is meeting in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on June 12 to develop recommendations for environmental restoration and waste management. 

That same day, the department's board on the Oak Ridge Reservation is meeting in Oak Ridge, Tenn. 

On June 13, a panel of judges for a performance excellence award is meeting in Gaithersburg, Md. 

The Forest Service's research advisory council is meeting in Washington on June 13 and 14. 

On June 19, the Commission on Civil Rights' advisory committee for Massachusetts is meeting in Boston to plan projects. 

The federal agency on pipeline and hazardous materials is holding a public workshop in Richardson, Texas, on June 19 and 20. 

An advisory panel on plastic surgery devices will meet on June 26 in Gaithersburg, Md.

On June 26 and August 19, the Forest Service's advisory committee for the White Pine and Nye counties, Nev., is meeting in Eureka, Nev. 

A Food and Drug Administration committee on drug safety is meeting in Silver Spring, Md., on July 10 to develop advice on the agency's regulations.
