Monday's meeting announcements: National Science Board

A Bureau of Indian Education panel is meeting in Albuquerque, N.M., on July 18 and 19 to discuss federal mandates for children with disabilities.

The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board is meeting on July 22 in Washington to consider monthly and quarterly reports. 

On July 29 and 30, NASA’s committee on human exploration and operations is meeting at the space agency’s headquarters in Washington. 

The board of regents of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, a federal health academy, is meeting on the school’s campus in Bethesda, Md., on July 30. 

Also on July 30, the Fish and Wildlife Service’s council for wildlife and hunting is holding a teleconference. 

NASA’s advisory panels on commercial space activities and education and public outreach are also meeting on July 30.

The State Department’s advisory committee on international economic policy is meeting on July 31. 

The Education Department’s governing board for assessments is meeting from Aug. 1-3 in Washington. 

On Aug. 2, the Federal Communications Commission’s consumer advisory committee is meeting at the agency’s headquarters in Washington to discuss possible action on fees charged to inmates’ calls and other matters. 

The Defense Department’s advisory committee on military family readiness is meeting in the Pentagon on Aug. 5. 

The Food and Drug Administration’s committee for risk communications is meeting in Silver Spring, Md., on Aug. 16.
