Nuke regulators caught watching porn at work

Workers at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) bypassed the agency’s Internet firewall to watch pornography while at work, according to a report published in The Washington Times.

The behavior appears far less pervasive than the scandal that rocked the Securities and Exchange Commission a few years ago.

Citing agency records it has obtained, the newspaper said one contractor admitted to watch “porn-type” movies on his downtime during a 12-hour shift.

Another searched for pornographic images on the photo-sharing site Flickr, while a third scoured eBay for pornography over the course of years on the job, according to the Times.

It is unclear what disciplinary action was taken against the employees.
