The Hill, the premier source for policy and political news across social, digital, print and events, is looking for a Digital and Social Media Ad Planner.

The digital and social media ad planner is responsible for the coordination of all digital and social media advertising campaigns, including submitting proposals, assisting sales teams with client needs, working with marketing, ad operations and sales to help with creation, implementation and execution of campaigns.

Job requirements:
• Work with agencies and clients on all aspects of campaign execution and implementation
• Respond to RFPs by working with sales team to create exceptional media plans
• Research demographics and site audience to fulfill advertisers’ objectives
• Brainstorm digital and social media ideas with ad team
• Provide inventory, information about products and specifications
• Give all information in a timely manner and with great attention to detail with accurate inventory and pricing
• Manage campaigns from contract, through execution and tracking
• Coordinate internally to implement and execute campaigns
• Process and manage IOs
• Must be knowledgeable across all digital and social media platforms
• Ensure submission of ad materials from clients
• Insert and assign new opportunities and leads into CRM
• Digital and social media ad planning experience required
• Have exceptional communication skills with a strong focus on client relations
• Be collaborative, adaptable, resourceful and a self-starter
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree required
