Executive Assistant/Program Coordinator

Exciting opportunity for talented individual to support the Executive Director of the National Rental Home Council (NRHC) www.rentalhomecouncil.org, a national trade association for the single-family rental industry located in Washington, D.C.

This position is primarily responsible for providing Executive level administrative support to the Executive Director (ED), which includes interacting with the board and committees and coordinating membership activities.

The position provides administrative support to the ED, preparing agendas, recording minutes and disseminating meeting notices, arranging meetings and appointments, coordinating projects and planning events for NRHC. Manages and updates the Association’s membership data and ensures accuracy of all committee rosters and list serves.

This is an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 2-3 years of professional office experience, and a high degree of professionalism. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and some basic graphic design and social media skills. Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills. Ability to be a self-starter, detail orientated, well organized, and a reliable team player. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. Knowledge of the housing industry and public affairs a plus.
