Coalition Manager

The National Women’s Law Center (the Law Center) seeks an experienced Coalition Manager to support the Child Care Team to win greater federal and state investments in child care to help low-and moderate income families afford high quality child care.

Executive Director

The Connecticut General Assembly seeks a dynamic, results oriented, nonpartisan leader to implement policy decisions of the Joint Committee on Legislative Management (JCLM). Responsible for managing the legislative financial, contractual and personnel operations; overseeing the nonpartisan offices and supervising office directors; acting as spokesperson about operational activities for JCLM and the news media; serving as chief administrative officer for the General Assembly; and overseeing the maintenance and security of the Capitol, Old State House, and Legislative Office Buildings.

Advocacy and Public Policy Assistant

This position provides administrative support to Senior Director, Public Policy; Senior Director, Government Relations; and Director, Member Advocacy. Responsibilities include organizational, production and logistical support for advocacy and public policy meetings, conferences, committees and projects; assistance with communications with Congress, Administration and CHA membership; and direct in-person and telephonic interaction with CHA membership. Some travel is required (approximately 5%).

Director of Regulatory Policy

The Director of Regulatory Policy will ensure that federal regulatory work is integrated with the policies, positions, and goals of the ASPCA to ensure that we improve the lives of animals across the country. With the VP of Federal Affairs, the Director will implement the Government Relations strategic vision and coordinate with other sections of the ASPCA, including Legal Advocacy in its role as legislative and regulatory counsel. This person will build support for our legislative and regulatory agenda by initiating and managing regular contact with Congress, the executive branch, and federal agencies.

Legislative Director – National Wildlife Federation

The Legislative Director for the National Wildlife Federation takes the lead in planning, overseeing and executing communications with Congressional and Executive branch offices to educate, advise, and advocate for NWF's interests and policy priorities. Communication of NWF's interests will be guided by the goals and milestones laid out in the Strategic Plan, and the recommendations of NWF program, regional, and senior staff as to the key policy priorities associated with accomplishing those objectives.

Government Relations Representative, Principal

This position reports to the Director, Federal Affairs. The Government Relations Representative, principal will work out of PG&E’s Washington, D.C. office and primarily be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of federal political engagement programs;  developing and managing relationships with federal government and community stakeholders, and lobbying to advance national energy and economic policies in support of PG&E’s business and the communities it serves.

The Advocacy and Campaigns Manager - Washington works with Crisis Action’s Washington Director, advancing Crisis Action’s unique model of advocacy and interacting with U.S. Government policymakers as well as NGO partners and other campaign allies, by developing and coordinating impactful joint advocacy campaigns that advocate for the protection of civilians in armed conflict. 

Vice President, Federal Affairs AWEA

 AWEA is seeking a Vice President, Federal Affairs to lead AWEA’s strategic engagement to educate and influence Congress and other elected or appointed federal officials in pursuit of a stable, effective policy platform for wind energy growth in the US. This senior staff position reports to the SVP, Government & Public Affairs and works with AWEA leadership and member committees.

Head of Media Relations, Sr. Communications Advisor

This position leads the development of strategic media relations plans, strategy, and execution for the largest electric utility in Texas. It requires positive relationships and interaction with news media on corporate events and utility trends as well as developing corporate positioning on external affairs and other public affairs issues. This interaction includes coordinating verbal and written media responses with the Communications Team, on-camera interviews and input on other company communications.

Federal Relations Specialist

Identifies, analyzes and tracks national and federal health-related information in support of The Joint Commission’s goals and priorities. Supports the Washington Office staff in their legislative, public policy daily, important and regulatory work so that The Joint Commission is aware of, and up-to-date on significant issues, regulations, and other relevant information that would affect its advocacy, policymaking, standards development, survey operations and other strategic initiatives important to The Joint Commission.
