AFGE Council 238 is committed to ensuring that EPA is reestablished as the nation’s leader in environmental education, research and science, and regains its place as the world leader in environmental protection. To help accomplish this, AFGE Council 238 has put together the following Issue Papers for the 111th Congress. To rebuild EPA, AFGE Council 238 believes the following issues need to be addressed: budget; green jobs; Labor-Management Relations; Libraries; and Principles of Scientific Integrity. As citizens of this great country, we should all be committed to ensuring that our children’s’ children have clean water, land and air, and that the health and safety of our fellow citizens, particularly children, are protected. |
