He said criticisms of Obama's actions are "fomented by those who profit from that fear."
“Every time I think about those kids, it gets me mad,” Obama said.
"He's been doing this forever," the presidential candidate said.
“They have made it very clear they are not going to act," Valerie Jarrett said.
The National Rifle Association is widely expected to challenge the executive orders in court.
"Pretty soon you won’t be able to get guns,” Trump said.
“Hillary said that guns don’t keep you safe,” Trumped tweeted Sunday.
“The thing the president should be doing … is enforcing the laws that we have.”
Trump also said he would rescind several of the executive orders issued by Obama.
“I don’t like anything having to do with changing our Second Amendment.”
Obama will reportedly announce changes to gun policy next week.
Some experts believe Tuesday’s executive action will only heighten demand.
The measure is one few pieces of must-pass legislation that is left on Congress' agenda.
“People are dying. ... And the constant excuses for inaction no longer suffice."

The president will issue a long-anticipated policy affecting gun sales at shows and online.
The raffle comes ahead of President Obama's expected order on gun control.

"I will unsign that so fast," Trump said about Obama's executive actions.
The president will increase requirements for those who purchase guns from high-volume dealers.
