Favorite place to power-lunch? “I very seldom eat a lunch [except] when it really, really fits in with my schedule. When I do it’s usually a banana.”
Favorite restaurant in D.C.? “I don’t eat out in D.C. enough to have a favorite restaurant.”
Cooking specialty? “I’m half-Italian. I make wonderful lasagna meatballs.”
Favorite candy? “Dark chocolate.”
Any allergies? “No allergies.”
Ever gotten food poisoning? “No food poisoning.”
What is a food you dislike? “Liver. Everybody in my family likes liver but me.”
