Bosh breaks down Obama's technique

Miami Heat center Chris Bosh refused to lob criticism at President Obama's basketball skills, even when confronted with video of the baller-in-chief shooting a measly 2 for 22 during last year's White House Easter Egg Roll.

“I’m a leftie too, so I got to stand up for the left-handed guys,” Bosh told ABC News's Jonathan Karl. “The form looks pretty good, but you know, sometimes you just go 2 for 22.”

“Looks like he’s just missing it,” Bosh said.

White House press secretary Jay Carney tried to defend the president at the time, saying he "doesn't get to practice probably as much as he'd like to."

"These are busy times," Carney noted.

Bosh was at the White House to celebrate the Heat's second consecutive national title. He said it was fun to receive congratulations from a president who was an avowed fan of the sport.

“It’s really cool,” Bosh said. “The fact that he knows who you are, and he follows basketball, and that he probably watched all the games is pretty awesome.”

Unfortunately for the Heat, it appears some of the president's bad luck rubbed off during the ceremony. The defending national champions were soundly beaten, 114-97, by the Washington Wizards Wednesday night.
