First lady Michelle Obama worked out with contestants from "The Biggest Loser" at the White House on Tuesday night, using her appearance on the hit NBC show to promote her "Let's Move!" initiative.
Dressed in a hot pink T-shirt and black workout pants, Obama joined the cast members in the East Room for jumping jacks, squats, burpies and push-ups.
"You all are cruel," she joked to the show's trainers.
"You never know what you can do in 20 minutes," she said at the end of the workout. "That was 20 minutes of good sweat. It's a joy and a privilege and I feel part of the team."
Before breaking into a sweat, the first lady met with the contestants to compliment them on their weight loss thus far.
"Is that all?" she joked to a contestant who had lost 129 pounds.
She also gave another contestant a fist-bump, which is a signature move of the Obamas.
"This is one of my favorite shows," she told them.
Obama, who appeared at the end of last week's episode of the popular NBC show, announced Tuesday night a partnership with the network to promote the presidential active lifestyle award challenge, details of which are on NBC's website.
The first lady has been increasing her television appearances in recent weeks as the Obama team shifts into election mode. She hosted Jimmy Fallon at the White House for a physical competition — including a potato sack race and tug-of-war contest. She also appeared on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."
On Wednesday night she will appear on Comedy Central's "Colbert Report."
