President Obama on Wednesday condemned “in the strongest terms” an “outrageous and shocking” attack in Libya that killed a U.S. ambassador and three other staffers.
Speaking in the Rose Garden beside Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Obama vowed to work with the Libyan government to “bring to justice the killers who attacked our people.”
"No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for," Obama said. "Today, we mourn four more Americans that represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waiver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act.
"Make no mistake," Obama said, "justice will be done."
