'Kid President' pulls April Fools' prank at White House

"It looks like you were expecting somebody else, but April Fools on all y'all. I'm Kid President and I hope everyone has an awesome day. It's everybody's duty to give the world a reason to dance," he says in the video.

"I made it to the White House. I'm here. Peace," added Novak, throwing up his hands.

Novak is in Washington, D.C., to help celebrate the annual Easter Egg Roll, which takes place today on the South Lawn of the White House. The 9-year-old will help welcome the 30,000 kids expected to attend the event.

Novak appeared in the official White House video announcing the Egg Roll last month. In that video the Kid President received a message via tin can from President Obama about the annual Easter event.

Kid President rose to online fame with a series of uplifting videos featured on the SoulPancake channel, created with the help of brother-in-law Brad Montague. The viral video star's "‪A Pep Talk from Kid President to You‬" had more than 17 million views on YouTube as of Monday morning.
