Protesters wage bloody-hand protest as Kerry argues for Syria strikes

Kerry addressed the protestors, saying he ran into one of them on his way into Tuesday's hearing who had told him "don't take us to war." He said he shared those concerns.

The silent protest came on the second day of congressional hearings. On Tuesday, Kerry and Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel were grilled by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee over whether or not the U.S. should forcibly intervene in Syria's civil war.
