Karl Rove, the top political adviser to former President George W. Bush, said
Friday that President Obama’s decision to raise funds off his upcoming address
to a joint session of Congress shows “that this is more about politics than it
is about the economy.”
Appearing on Fox News, Rove criticized the content of an Obama fundraising email, saying that if the administration was seeking a bipartisian solution, it wouldn’t “immediately send out a fundraising email signed by the
president decrying the political opposition for opposing a plan [he has] yet to
lay out.”
