NRCC hits Barrow in new Republican-leaning district

The National Republican Congressional Committee is up with its first ad against Rep. John Barrow (D-Ga.), a perrenial target whose swing district just became much more Republican because of redistricting.

The small, $21,000 ad buy will run on cable in the Savannah, Augusta and Macon cable TV markets for the next three weeks. It criticizes Barrow for supporting Democrats' 2009 stimulus package and for voting against repealing President Obama's health insurance reform law.
