Trump on meeting with Romney: 'Better than I anticipated'

Donald Trump offered details about his meeting with Republican presidential hopeful former Gov. Mitt Romney (Mass.) Monday, saying they “hit it off very well, even better than I anticipated.”

The businessman, who considered a presidential run of his own, has met with several of the Republican presidential candidates including Texas Governor Rick Perry, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who has yet to throw her name into the race.

While Trump said he and Romney met previously, and they agreed on several important topics, he has yet to endorse a GOP presidential candidate.

Trump appeared on CNN’s “The Situation Room” by phone about one of their main topics of discussion: China and OPEC.  He also weighed in on the Republican debate last week, saying that, “the press was very, very tough on Perry…It wasn’t his finest hour.”
