Hours after she announced that she would not run for the Republican presidential nomination, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said she would work instead to support conservative candidates for the House, the Senate and the White House.
“Really, you don’t need a title to make a difference in this country. I think I’m proof of that,” she told Fox News host Greta Van Susteren.
Palin's decision not to run for president essentially ends the speculation about the make-up of the Republican field, but it didn't get top billing in the interview with the former governor — the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was the first topic in the Fox News interview.
