Santorum, Romney set feisty tone for GOP debate

Former Sen. Rick Santorum (Penn.) set the tone early in Tuesday night's Republican presidential debate by attacking former Governor Mitt Romney (Mass.) directly and often.

Santorum said that Romney had no credibility on repealing the healthcare reform law, which the Republican candidates refer to as Obamacare, because the plan passed by Romney in his home state was the model for the national plan.

Given 30 seconds to respond to the accusation, Romney tried to deflect the criticism while Santorum tried to jump back in, saying, “You're outta time.”
