After starring in action films and launching his own reality television show, actor Steven Seagal might have a third act in mind: Running for governor of Arizona.
The “Under Siege” actor said in an interview with local news outlet KNXV-TV that he’s open to the idea.
Seagal said he had discussed the possibility with Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the conservative star with whom he’s teamed up to launch a reality television show, “Steven Seagal — Lawman: Maricopa County." Seagal is active in conservative politics, and appeared at a Tea Party conference in Arizona early last year.
