Rick Perry debuted a new television ad Saturday on local Iowa and national cable networks extolling his status as an "outsider" to the Washington political process.
The ad focuses on Perry's plan, introduced this week, that would reduce congressional salaries and halve the amount of time representatives spent in D.C.
