"Astonishingly liberal. An administration that has squandered our trust, using backhanded methods to change the very fabric of American life. Who stands up to him? John Cornyn. Conservative. Pro-life. Lives the Second Amendment. Fights for truth from a dishonest Administration. He stands up to Obama every day. Pushes back," the ad's narrator says. "John Cornyn’s for us — for Texas."

Cornyn has a huge cash advantage for the race — he had more than $7 million in the bank at the end of September — and is beginning to use it to buy airtime in the Lone Star State's expensive media markets. He is viewed as the prohibitive front-runner against the sparsely funded Stockman, who has won little support from either local or national conservative groups.
