Perry: Obama administration 'absolute failure' at collecting intelligence

During Tuesday night's GOP presidential debate on foreign policy, Texas Gov. Rick Perry hammered the Obama administration, claiming they had been an "absolute failure" in providing support for the intelligence community.

“We’ve really failed ... in our ability to collect intelligence around the world,” said Perry.

He claimed that the administration had failed to provide the budget resources necessary for intelligence agencies to carry out their mission.

"This administration in particular has been an absolute failure when it comes to expending the dollars and supporting the CIA and the military intelligence around the world to be able to draw in that intelligence that is going to be truly able to allow us to keep the next terrorist attack from happening on American soil," he said.
