Mitt Romney compared Newt Gingrich to a 1950s sitcom character on Tuesday, saying that his GOP rival's failure to get on Virginia's ballot seemed more like an episode of "I Love Lucy" than Pearl Harbor.
Gingrich's campaign on Sunday compared their failure to get the minimum 10,000 signatures required by Virginia to the 1941 bombing of Pearl Harbor.
Romney had a different view.
"I think he compared it to Pearl Harbor. I think it’s more like Lucille Ball and the chocolate factory," he said.
