RNC attacks Obama's record ahead of Iowa caucuses

Days after putting President Obama on notice that they had assembled a 500-page magnum opus of opposition research to use against him, dubbed “The Book,” Republicans gave Obama a sneak preview of the first chapter.

The document — a fully electronic, searchable, hyperlinked and cross-referenced database of quotations, statistics and videos documenting every aspect of Obama’s first term — will be the go-to source for the Republican National Committee as it seeks to turn Obama’s words against him.

In the ad, the RNC knocks Obama as a president who has made grandiose economic promises to voters but failed to deliver on them.
